I was supposed to be looking the other way for a sunrise, but couldn&#8217;t resist taking a couple of snaps of the lights in Pokeno village and, of course, the new Yashili factory. \u00a0There was a significant amount of low cloud this morning and the lights from the factory and adjacent areas just lit up the mist and clouds. \u00a0Quite pretty from a distance!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11903\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11903\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nzcjs.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150529_063346-copy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-11903\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nzcjs.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150529_063346-copy-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nzcjs.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150529_063346-copy-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.nzcjs.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150529_063346-copy-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nzcjs.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150529_063346-copy.jpg 2000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11903\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Yashili New Zealand Dairy with Pokeno village in the foreground<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sad to say I didn&#8217;t get the shots I wanted with the sunrise &#8230; way too much mist and low cloud and it was bitterly cold. My fingers and toes were frozen and then my car decided to play silly games and wouldn&#8217;t let me open the boot to store away all my gear!
